Olá! I’m a curious Portuguese researcher from Lisbon, with many interests and skills. The goal of this website is to communicate in an open and simple manner what my research is all about, but also to share a little bit about who I am.
Currently, I am a Data Analyst with the Land &Water Resources Department of Dane County.
For a little over a year, I was a Forest Ecologist/Silviculture Specialist with the Division of Forestry at the
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in J.M.C. Pereira’s lab at the University of Lisbon, Portugal.
I did my Ph.D. research within the SILVIS lab, and I got my degree from the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology, University of Wisconsin – Madison.
In my free time, I used to climb, dance, or simply be outdoors, but now I have two kiddos who fill up all my time and I wouldn’t want it any other way!
